BHA-1 Balanced Output Question
A few days ago, I received a BHA-1 headphone amplifier. My question is about the two 3pin XLR connectors and the single 4 pin XLR connect. Is one better than the other? If I were to have a custom Norse Audio or Q Audio headphone cable made up, would it be better to have two 3pin XLR connectors or the single 4 pin? Or to put it simply, does one XLR sound better than the other. My cable length will only be around 10 foot. Sad to say I can't tell you how it sounds as I am still saving for a Wireworld Y cable and the Audeze 2 R2 headphones. I am trying to hang in there.
Thanks, ~Mike |

Thank you for responding so quickly. The BHA-1 sure has the quality look and feel to it. I know by all the positive reports I have read that it is one awesome performer. ~Mike |

Yes I think most customers are surprised by the fit and finish and "substansitiveness" of the BHA when they get it James |

Just to add on to what James stated, there is no advantage to either interface, other than compatibility with various manufacturers.

James I was really surprised when I lefted it out of the box. It is really heavy. The Volumn knob has a very nice feel to it. It whispers presison. ~Mike |
