Rip City baby! What a game!

Congrats to both teams - that has to be one of the most evenly matched first round series I've ever seen. If you aren't watching, the NBA playoffs are really off to an amazing start this year. So many of the series are going to a Game 7 this weekend. Fortunately, thanks to Damian Lillard, the Portland/Houston series isn't one of them!

Close games for sure in this series. I was beginning to wonder if the Blazers were gonna make it to the second round!!!

I was sitting on the couch, cursing the fact that we were going to have to go back to Houston and probably lose, how disheartening, when Lillard came around the pick, caught an excellent inbounds pass and had a good look. I'm on my feet, arms raised indicating a three, shouting, "we won!" Melinda, who couldn't sit down because she was so nervous and upset, didn't realize we had won. I had to explain to her what had happened. Finally she let out a whoop and gave me a hug. My sister and her husband, Marv, were at the game, so they gave us a call. It was bedlam on the phone.

I'm guessing San Antonio next.

I lived in Portland in 1977 when the Trail Blazers won the NBA championship that year. The city went wild.

Would be a stellar year for Paul Allen if Portland were to win the championship this year. Personally and financially I would be OK with this outcome.

Maybe my favourite thing about the rise of the internet....as a Brit who loves the NBA , it's a pleasure to finally have every game available, and tonight the games are even at civilized times

I was in LA in 96 & a guy from the hostel suggested going to The Sidewalk (Venice) to watch some finals series.....Bulls v Sonics ....I was hooked from the first minute!! MJ remains the single greatest sportsman I've ever watched, period! Over the years, we've got a few games + the finals on Sky, but NBA TV rocks

Feel for Toronto right now, valiant effort!

I can remember watching MJ at the palace ! I was and am a Pistons fan but I couldn't help but be in awe.
