Jim...I watched the game. Quite entertaining. Must have been nice to be among that record-breaking crowd (109K...largest audience for a soccer game in the US).

Can't imagine the wait to get out of the parking lot will be much fun though! Hope you enjoyed it.

No problem for me getting out my parking spot. I have it all planned out to avoid traffic since I have had season tickets for Michigan football since 1978. I was actually home before 7pm and I live about 35 miles from the Stadium.

The crowd was very attentive but quiet compared to European venues. There were a lot of young kids and families which was great to see. The crowd went nuts when they saw that Ronaldo was going to come in around the 75 minutes mark especially after they indicated he would not play. His footwork was amazing. I think he just wanted to be part of the event.

Todays record US crowd for a match in the US is still about 6,000 less than the record for a college football game set in 2013.

All the pre season posturing is over now. In an hour, ManU kick off the season with the first home game against Swansea.

The team urgently need to sign two good players to strengthen defence and midfield but I am hopeful they'll get it done before the September deadline and will be competing for a top three place at the end of the season
