Really nice looking system Steve. Just love those MC2301's!!! I'm also really intrigued by your room acoustics. I bet it sounds magical

Trevor...I do have room constraints of a typical house with open plan living. I hope to change that with an extension one of these days. Nevertheless, the Vicoustic panels have been the biggest improvement to the system overall.

The Wavewood panels are an amazing & reasonably priced product with many applications. Best of all they do a fantastic job killing off any standing wave formation & give the room back its thump. These are on the walls but can be used as basstraps too. I also have a couple of Wavewood super bass extremes in the rear corners behind the F113s.

The ceiling consists of Multifuser DC2s (centre) & Omega Wood absorption/diffusion panels (sides & overhead). Although the benefits are smaller with the 10ft ceilings, they do kick in at higher volume levels. Ceiling diffusion helped broaden the sweet spot & dimensionality around the room. I also found that the DC2s better focus the centre channel for HT.

Congrats on a wonderful system..it looks fantastic. I noticed the Shunyata Talos at the bottom of each rack...

As for Jack, well, he's pretty wonderful. I love that shot of him in the sweet spot. My cat Lucky does the same.

Stephen...Cheers. Jack's cool. You'll love your new Hydra Triton & will just need to decide where to put it & how to feed all the snakes!

I decided to slip the Talos' under the racks on top of 10mm granite which have Herbie's grungebuster decoupling dots underneath.

You will notice a pair of Hydra Cyclops under the centre rack which are currently unplugged until some new cable arrives. These are for the amps.

Shunyata now have decoupling spikes for direct floor placement (if you have the clearance). These stainless steel feet look interesting on their website.
