From also my limited experience, #1 is probably D'Agostino MOMENTUM, #2 is surely the Accuphase A-65 and the other very good amps are PASS XA 100.5, ARC REF 250 (though, somewhat less energitic than some of the 'big beasts' listed above).

I also do like very much the PASS XA 60.5, for people who appreciate a more 'relaxed/elastic' bass rendition.

I've heard the Sashas with the Pass XA 200.5s & Technical Brain monos. The TB were better on the bottom end. The Pass has a more tube like SQ.

Has anyone heard Bret D'Agostino’s Bullysound BSC-100m monos on the Sashas?

On the tube front, I understand that Scott Frankland of Wavestream Kinetics introduced
some new 100 watt monos at CES.

WOW! My new Sashas are beginning to give up the goods. The break in period has been an emotional armageddon for me. Day one, listening was blissful. Day two, there was a huge hole in the soundsatge on the left side. Day three, it equalized a bit, but got dark. Day four, that pesky hole showed up on the right side. Day five, ahhhhh! I'm told that this will continue to happen until there is about 1000 hours on the Sashas. I just want you all to know that my Lamm M1.2s are wrestling all the pearls out of the Sashas. The Wilson/Lamm pairing is as good as it gets.

I confirm that the Sasha were sounding pretty good with the Accuphase A65.

Is classe CAM600 monblock amps (new amps) an appropriate amp for Wilson Sasha 2 or sasha? I am currently (Sasha 2) using Levinson 27.5 (old 1994 amp), and it is very good. I wonder if the classe cam600 is words ahead of the levinson 27.5? The 27.5 is known to be a touch forward. Classical music, orchestral and choral. Thank you!

Running springs audio Dimitri power conditioner, mongoose power cord. Levinson 27.5 amp, ARC SP9 mark iii, Simaudio Eclipse and Andromeda CD players. All cables/interconnects are 1994 era Transparent super.

What combination will bring out the best in my Sasha's? The McIntosh C1100 with MC501's or Audio Research Ref5se with Ref75se? Or something else? (I did have my eye on some Pass Labs equipment XP20/XA160.8, but its costs 50% more).

Unfortunately with the C1100 being so new, there is limit availability for a in-home demo. I have hear the ARC combo previously and was very impressed.

From a cost perspective, they are approx the same with offsetting my existing McIntosh against the ARC.

Does it just come down to personal preference or is one combo sonically better than the other?
