Slayers, I think you are derailing this thread a bit but here is my take on cables...

99% of high end cables are snake oil. The only brand that I can hear make a difference is Wire World. The difference is small but it is definitely there. Now, in order to hear the difference, everything else in your system has to be top notch. Cables are the last thing you should buy and you have to decide if it is worth the money to get that last 1-2% in performance.

That being said, I have not heard Nordost so I can not judge them one way or the other. Slimbo says they make a difference to his ears and that is all that matters.
