Amen....... especially that last word. One of the things I'm always left wondering after so many reads of battles, wars, etc., is how anyone actually won with all the egos and bad decisions made by those in charge (on all sides).

Just started "Atomic Accidents" by Jim Mahaffey. Most entertaining start...........

How God Makes Men by Patrick Morley. Ten epic stories, Ten proven principles, One huge promise for your life. From Abraham to Paul, the challenges each man faced and the faith that brought them through it. This is a good read for men of today who face challenges in their lives and learning to work through it by their example. Happy to discuss.

I am working my way through “Atlas Shrugged” by Ayn Rand. It's very good but a long read.

In the past 6 months I have read the “Tattooist of Auschwitz”, “The Long Walk” and started “The Girls with No Names,” this week. I made a pledge this year to read at least 4 books. Finding the time can be challenging at times.

I've been reading quite a lot lately among the best I've read lately is:

Why we sleep? : I thought it would be boring and not really interesting. It's all the opposite. It's really eye opening and makes you understand how important sleep is. This book has definitely changed my life!

Sapiens: I absolutely loved that book. It really challenges you and your vision of the world. It is a unique perspective about the world and how we got here.

Money changes everything: History seen through money from the Babylonian (and even earlier) to today. It's amazing to see how money and banking has developed through the ages but also how sophisticated people were even in ancient history

The Prize: History again... this time about oil. it's a read of the 20th century event through the perspective of oil. It's funny that we were already talking about peak oil in the early 1900s and then it became about too much oil and back again.

"The Making of the Atomic Bomb" by Richard Rhodes, 25th anniversary re-issue.
Won the Pulitzer Prize and other awards when it first came out.

Excellent read. Read it when it was first out and wish Yergin would update with a 2nd edition, to cover these last 30yr.
