Running 25 feet XLR here. Strongly recommend XLR for any long runs.

I use balanced 35’ Wireworld Equinox 8 interconnect cables between my preamp and power amps. They are a recent upgrade and work fabulously.

I am using 35' Transparent interconnects XLR connections from preamp to both amplifiers with no issues.

18-20 foot run from my Source stack and the Amp. My stack is on the side of the room, with the amp(s) at the front between the speakers. I have used 3 cables now with excellent results - BlueJeans RCA and XLR, and a set Zu Cable Event RCA. Not had an issue.

With the final amp looking to be a balanced amp, I am looking into an upgrade for the BlueJeans. Not in a hurry though.

24’ RCA cables from my XP-20 to my (recently retired) Van Alstine 600R. Purist Audio Venustas. Not a hint of noise or other issues. So even with RCA it’s possible (although not the first thing I’d recommend )
