Kool Volks -- enjoy & let it break in. Keep a "time" log on & you'll have a written record as it settles in. What cartridge? And please take a few photos as well.

Put a Dynavector 10x5 0n mine and upgraded the phono preamp from the Clearaudio Nano to a Heed Quasar. Results are very nice so far.

I own the ClearAudio Emotion and have to say I have had nothing but amazement from friends. It was a great buy. Anyone thinking of going vinyl may want to check out this new line replacing the emotion. I for one will be keeping what I have, It's plays beautiful music.

Several months ago I posted that I purchased a Clearaudio Concept TT that I was less than impressed with. The cart. I used was a Denon DL-301 mk2, my favorite low cost MC cart. I didn't rally like the sound of this combo. I actually had it listed for sale. I got no inquiries, Boy am I glad I didn't. I got a good deal on a lightly used CL Virtuoso cart. from Gene Rubin Audio to try on the Concept. A whole different experience! The Virtuoso is perfect for this TT. I got everything I have wanted from this TT. I have a modified Empire 208 with Jelco 750D arm and Denon DL-103r cart. with Uwe ebony body. These two TT are quite different. The Empire is more organic sounding with less detail. The concept is more HIFI sounding with more detail. Both are very pleasant to listen to. In my opinion I have the best of both worlds. Synergy is everything.......
