I traded in my MC152 for the MC302 and it arrived this afternoon. See pics.

Thank you all. I am wondering if anyone knows if when first powering up the amp, the Sentry Monitor lights for about 3 seconds and then goes out. I assume this is normal? I didn't really notice on my MC152.

Thanks so much gentlemen. I listened to my system for 4 hours today. The bass seems deeper and more defined and the treble seems a bit extended. The amount of power is staggering, as everything sounds more effortless. I tested the spl by playing “Welcome To The Machine” by Pink Floyd. It was an Analog Productions SACD. I had peak spl’s at 106.7 dB and average levels at 98 dB. The meters were barely reading 30 watts. The amp is dead quiet and the only clue that the amp is used is the trim at the right end of faceplate. There is a Knick on the edge that you can feel but not see. All in all I am happy I upgraded.
