Rethm Audio....I've never heard these before and got them to play one of my favorite Holly Cole songs.....I want to be sure to give some of these rooms the benefit of the doubt, but this room was pretty much awful.

Joseph Audio and Doshi. I've always liked Joseph Audio speakers and the Perspectives were no exception.......these things sounded excellent, not to mention they look great too. They were very smooth, had good deep bass and great imaging.

Here's One of my favorites of show.....but not necessarily for the sound, but for the marketing...Gershman Acoustics with VAC......now these things sounded excellent, but let's be honest, they are ugly as all get out.....the WAF here is almost non existent......here's what they look like:

So my favorite part of the room was the photo from their marketing that was hung up on the wall:

So here's someone's wife or girlfriend enjoying some music by the fire looking longingly at these things, all while not being hooked up to any cables of course. If anyone has seen this unicorn of a woman, please let us know.

NOLA and Audio Research......they had these set up on the long wall firing directly into the other long wall with only about 6 feet between them and the first and only row of chairs...I don't know why. You could tell these would sound excellent in a normal room...I can't for the life of me understand why they had these not firing down the long length of the room.

Dynaudio and Esoteric.......we had them play some Dire Straits and it sounded excellent. Nice bass and great imaging, I liked this room a lot but I've always liked Dynaudio speakers.

So the Paradigm room had "Breast Cancer Awareness" speakers. I never knew there was such a thing but here they are on static display.

MSB with Magico M3s....my first experience with the M3 and they are as good as advertised. I wish they had been in a bigger room, but they sounded smooth, deep, coherent and just nice, no obvious flaws that I could hear myself. One of the best at show and in a less than optimal room. By the way, the MSB DAC stack was over $100K.

You were probably listening to well over a 1/4 Millions dollars worth of gear not counting the cable loom.

I can’t get over the poorly photoshopped fireplace and left speaker.

The Vandersteen / VTL setup in Ponderosa is easily one of my favs. Sorry no pic. I’ll try to grab one tomorrow.
