Default Jubilee List Price (home version) & How to buy?

  • Does anyone know an approx price?
  • Also, how can you buy them through a dealer? Or do they have to be direct?
Curious why Klipsch doesn't offer them in their standard speaker line.

Part of the Theater line, from Klipsch direct, about 7500.00 per pair. Several years ago I drove 200 miles to hear them. Very dynamic speakers with shit-loads of bass down to 40 hz

Marty is right, part of the theater lineup. The home brew version is NOT illustrated anywhere as it's a 2-way design.

Where are you located? perhaps there is an owner within an acceptable range to you.

If you were to ever debate a purchase, it would serve you well to contact a Jubilee owner to find out the best way to do it. These are NOT standard/stocked items. Furthermore, when I called my local dealer about them, he quoted me a price that was multiple thousands over what I actually paid (from another approved dealer).

More than one person has had a wrong driver attached on the top horn because they didn't follow the suggestions (of contacting someone for guidance) and their dealer didn't know that the tweeter and midrange drivers were swapped for residential use.

I'm in Jacksonville Florida, if you're ever nearby, you're welcome to hear them. I also have them mated with a pair of Danley DTS-10's and Marty, you would drop your jaw at them now.

T-Rex would create a small earthquake as he walks through the woods!!!

Richard,
I was hoping you would be ready for one of the 24" Stereo Integrity subwoofers to boost the bottom end of those Jubilees:

Stereo Integrity | 24" IB subwoofer

I've witnessed the majesty, mind you they are all "Go" and very little "show" - hide these from your wife, zero wife acceptance factor.

I've been thinking about building a pair o khorns. I have the plans already. But it will be tons of work. I see a set of clones on cv chicago for 950! I have thought about grabbing them for the cabs alone and then do the crites upgrades.

I'd envy your wood skills if you did! Jubs are less than new Klipschorns.

PM coytee ON THE KLIPSCH Forum.

I saw this.

My 2-cents? If you've got the skills to build a pair of Khorn clones.... stop, drop & change direction. Instead of a Khorn, make a Jubilee clone.

PWK's final project.

Designed to raise the crossover point so it could become a 2-way (check)
Designed to keep same footprint as a Khorn (check)
Designed to lower the Khorn distortion (check)
Designed to keep or improve the Khorn bottom end (check)

All that and it's a much easier build.

I have no idea who's got valid plans....there have been several make a stab at building a pair.

Fair warning, 'Rigma' (on the Klipsch forum) built a beautiful pair. Upon finishing he said had he known how much work it was, he would have simply bought a pair.
