Jerry.......I agree with you. Until this thread, I never heard of Daniel Hertz gear, although I am fond of the first name.

It would be difficult to spend that kind of money on audio components that are basically built to order, shipped direct from the factories at your expense, with no local dealers or technical support at this time. Since you cannot audition the gear, a purchase would be on blind faith, based on the quality and sound of previous Mark Levinson gear, which of course hasn't been manufactured by him or to his specifications for more than a decade.

Hi Pavel, don't think anyone in this forum can answer your questions cause Daniel Hertz combo's/gears are "rare" stuff which is not carried in stores, at least not over here.

If one were to purchase it, it would be based solely on what he read over the DH's website or on Mr. Levinson's past works reputation.
