Hello Doug,

I'm in holidays in Tenerirfe and I just saw your post.
They sound really great with the WW cables. I have no plans to try the Transparent ones.
The sound is very pleasant from deep bass to treble.
I agree with Laurent now that the WP8 seem to be the warmer speakers in the the whole WP and Sophia range. They seem clearly less neutral than the Sashas. They have a small bump in the bass and a slight attenuation in the treble but this goes very well both to my roolm and my musical tastes.

I feel the same enjoyment than the first days and I never listened to so much music.
Sometimes I wish that the voices could be a bit fuller, with more weight, as the ones I got with the PMCs, and I also wish for some more energy in the treble, especially for cymbals which were more realist on the PMCs too. The perfect speaker is like the perfect amp : at decent prices, they just do not exist.
But overall, the sound of the WP8 is so involving and exciting and musical at the same tilme ( what a surprise to me : I always found them lacking some "soul" ) : those speakers have a soul that really talk to me.
I do not analyse the sound with them like I was doing with the PMCs which were actually more detailed. The Wilson, although very transparent ( they are terrific when it comes to compare carts, cables, any kind of gear actually....), give a more global presentation and you focus more on the music itself.
The setereo image is to die for and is probably one of the very best reason why I found myself so immersed in the music.

The improvements of the WW SE6 over the Kimber 8TC is unbelievable.
Much more than with the PMC's.
