Oppo BDP-95 Ranked A+ by Stereophile
In the October issue of Stereophile, the Oppo BDP-95 was in pretty high cotton, being, by far, the least expensive player ranked A+ in
SACD. DVD-A & CD PLAYERS & TRANSPORTS & MEDIA PLAYERS (page 83) The next least expensive players in this ranking were the Sony SCD-SA5400ES at $1499 and the Bryston BDP-1, at $2195. Most of the machines in this classification were well over $5,000.

Julian.......I'm sure pleased with the performance of my Oppo BDP-95. Not only is the Blu-ray video excellent, but the two channel and multi-channel audio performance is thrilling.

---Julian, in last year's October 2011 issue of Stereophile (VOL.34 NO.10), the Oppo BDP-95: ($999 $$$) was also in Class A+ (on page 81, at the top left) of Recommended Components..
Kalman Rubinson of Stereophile (Music in the Round) reviewed the Oppo BDP-95 in the September 2011 issue of that mag (VOL.34 NO.9), on page 56. ----- http://www.stereophile.com/content/m...nd-50-page-2-0 So you are just one year late. Last edited by LordoftheRingsEE; 09-11-2012 at 06:18 PM. |

I love my Oppo BDP-95. What's even cooler is my MCD 500 beats it in 2 ch by a fair margin, and I understand the MCD 1100 is significantly better! We're truly in the stratosphere here.
