Same level of quality in Mac and Bryston, but an audibly different approach.

Jim

Hi Jim,

Actually I am very interested in your comment. How would you generally describe the differences in sound between Bryston and MAC (assumming you have heard both companies recent products of course)

james

James Tanner.......Welcome to Audio Aficionado. I have read your advice to many Bryston customers and fans on another forum. I admire the music first point of view, and the help you have offered many audiophiles. Very glad to see you participate here.

This is great to see you here James Tanner. I've spent many years (10), using Bryston amps/preamps etc..BP5 remains in my backup inventory for example. Many hours reading your thoughtful responses and answers/advice on AudioCircles. And a trip to your facility to visit Cam once is burned in my memory as one of my more exciting experiences in this hobby. This is a fantastic site with fantastic fans of all music and all high-end gear, welcome.

I frequent the Audio Circle Forum as well as others, I don't post much in any of them. I mainly read for information. I will tell you guys that I have read many responses in the Audio Circle Forum by James, his ability to respond to Questions in a non Biased way is a gift. He is straight to the point with Honesty, and integrity and respect for all. I had the pleasure to meet Mr. Tannner at the CES Show 2-Yrs ago. He is the same in person as He is on the Forums. What you read and imagine of him is what He is.
A truly BIG Welcome James,
Glenee

I have a musician friend who swears by his Bryston equipment--great stuff and excellent customer service. It's very nice to see you posting in a public forum JT.
