Yes, for about $60k you could get the 101e's, the 9008's and the 6010D. The newer 101E MK II's are probably going to cost you over $40k since they have only been out about a year and I haven't seen any on A-gon as of yet. I understand that the sub-woofers and crossovers have been improved.

If you ever get a change to audition the 101's make sure you set aside a lot of time. The sound is probably different from what you are used to hearing and it may take time to appreciate what they do.

Jim,

Just before Christmas, Ron recommended me the following full MBL Noble setup and told me everything would fall nicely in place for my new TV console/cabinet. He would gladly take back the Jeff M501's.

MBL1531 Red Book CD Player
MBL5011 Pre Amp
MBL9007 (x2) Stereo Power Amps (in Stereo Bi-Amp Config)
MBL111F Speakers

The power amp was recommended as they do fit nicely to the "limited" depth of my new console's top shelve.

Cables? Well, the "flat" Wireworld, what else?

Well, its a hard sell cause I dont know how to open a can of worms PLUS I have already ordered the Wadia and Sasha's which are on the way to me.

Oh well, ... another time, maybe ......

But MBL gears sure are a nice system when listened together as one.

Cheers!

It may take until your girls are in college but someday in the future Ron is going to get you to switch to the MBL's.

Happy Holidays my friend.
