MX150 & MVP Delivery Watch

The MX150 is installed in the upstairs system, although I haven't done the Room Perfect setup yet. I hope to do that tomorrow night when I get back from my quick trip to Los Angeles.

So far, everything seems to being working well. The network interface via a web browser is very cool. It not only allows access to the "Installer" menu for setting up various functions, but it also can be used to view the status of the system and to actually control things like volume, input selection, on/off, etc.

I have five sources connected for both audio and video via HDMI: MVP881, OPPO BD-83SE, PS3, Directv HR-21, and AT&T U-Verse. I also have the MVP881's 7.1 channel audio output connected to the MX150. The MX150 allows you to assign a given HDMI input to multiple sources, so I have one source setup for HDMI audio and video from the MVP881 and another source setup for HDMI video and the multi-channel analog audio.

Does the network interface need to be on a PC, or will Safari on an Apple MacBook work, too???

Thanks, HK! I think you are right about being done for at least a while. I still have a little tweaking to do, including figuring out how to get my Lumagen Radiance XE to play nice with the MX150's HDMI output, as well as reprogramming my URC remote control's macros. Otherwise, it's going to be fun!

Safari works great! I was accessing it via Safari first from my MacBook Air and then from my Mac Pro downstairs in my study. I didn't have any issues at all using Safari.

There have been remarkable improvements in browser compatibility across the board with Microsoft and Mozilla stepping up to get their browsers in compliance with the standards.

John.......Congratulations on the install. You have a beautiful, as well as complex set up. It is good to know that the MX150 is able to handle your connection requirements in stride.
