Definitely a challenge with some of the recording techniques that either were still being developed or poor for their day, but some music is worth it. Our gear certainly reveals recordings' "faults", which were mostly listened to on record players and portable transistor radios that were not exactly hi-fidelity.

And it's gonna do the business again, I've just ordered a ten cd box set, 'Now's the time' with an SQ supposedly as good as the complete Dial's etc, according to reviewers. Here goes!
