It's certainly a great match with the Zu Speakers. Steve and I both used Soul Superfly's on the review.

Sorry, I don't care for the retro look. The reason, it does look like 70' or 80's gear.

Their newer gear is much more to my liking.

I really like the retro look. I'd love to know how it compares to other Japanese amps in it's price range.

Are you referring to the B&W speakers or Luxman integrated amp? If latter, why makes this particular amp not benefit from a sub?

It does...it also reminds me of my first preamp, a Harmon-Kardon Citation 11...this was before the "everything black for a rack" look that came in around 1979-1980.
