Shindo preamps : length of interconnects.
Hello Shindo folks !
Is it true that Shindo preamps cannot accept more than 3 meters cables at the output to power amp(s) ? Is this also the case with balanced outputs like the Vosnee Romane ? Thanks !

I write this based on my own experience: the change from 2.7 m to 6.5 m had a positive effect on the way music is displayed. Let me say it this way: the melt flow index increased |

upps...sorry...just saw that your question refers to IC cables... no experience with cables taller than 1.5m

Dear Jerome,
I think what you say is more the case for the models without transformer output. A friend of mine uses approx. 6m cable from his Shindo Allegro (dual mono, transformer coupled output) to his 300B power amps...no problem at all. In general I would use cables as short as possible, rather change the set up than use more than 2-3m between pre and power amp...but thats just my gut feeling.
