You visited their factory, did you not? I think it's not too far away from me. Worth going?

Hi John - I had a great time visiting Dan and the ModWright team at their facility in Amboy - my only regret is that I had to leave much sooner than I wanted to get back to PDX and catch my plane back home. It's not too far at all from Portland, and worth the trip to audition his equipment if you are interested in hearing it. My write up from my trip is a couple of posts below this in the ModWright sub-forum.

The KWI-200 really is the current star of the ModWright line-up in terms of performance/value, and with the ability to add both phono preamp and DAC modules to it if you would like, it is a piece that you could very easily build around and be very pleased with!

Let me (and us) know if you make it up there - it would be fun to read your impressions!

Hmmm. For some reason it does not show when I go to the Modwright section, but when I do a search, I find it. Oh, well. I'm going to go read your write-up now. I do hope to get up to see the facility sometime this summer as a outing.

Thanks.
