Yes. APCI did take care of us when overseas. I was "forced" to go to Belgium, Wales and, of course, Walton-on-Thames.

Don't know if all industries there are similar but I attended an automotive trade show a couple of years back with a good Chinese presence ...
Chatting to one of their engineers it seems quality is up to the buyer ... you want cheap, they'll make it, give them your design and specs including mtbf and they'll make that too, saw some pretty ordinary stuff and some cast and or machined parts that were top notch, so you get what you pay for ....

I remember, years a go, first time I heard some good and respected company from Europe that moved its production to China was VINCENT... Back then i saw and heard some mono amps and was confused.. great sound, excellent qualitiy, terrific looks...
After all these years, I check from time to time and two VINCENT's are on my mind...

Someone should bring out a line of Chinese made speakers called Bing. Pair them with Bada amps and you've got a Bada Bing system.

But seriously, I purchased a used Classic No.16 EL34 tube amp for a pittance a few months ago and I was blown away by the SQ of the unit - I could live with it for a very long time. It is also very well built - reminiscent of the 80s Krell build quality.
