The better question is where these will fit in the product line; they won't replace the Reference series, so will they replace something else or coexist?

I'm really liking the vintage look on this one. I need to demo some arc product at my dealer

There's a link in the other Galileo thread which says they are reimagined versions of their current models. And the prices are about 2x or more than the models they are based on. For the fancy metal work and Italian styling.

I just went through this again. It says they are all tube design.
Does this mean they are not using JFETS anywhere in these circuits?

Not quite. They are reimagined versions of an ARC classic preamp (SP-1 introduced in 1970) and amp (D-79 introduced in 1979) not reimagined versions of current amps. I believe the Galileo line will stand on its own. Its pricing is up there (check out other thread for details on pricing).

Those weren't my words. It's the quote from the audiobeat article which I guess must have been from ARC.

Audio Research GSPre, GS150 and GSi75 - The Audio Beat - www.TheAudioBeat.com

These are "reimagined" versions of current models
The GS Pre seems to have a DAC and is not unlike the DSPre.

The GS150 seems like a reimagined REF75.
