Default Looking At Music Servers
If I added a Bryston BDP-1 to my setup would I still need my Bryston BUC-1 to connect to my BDA-1?

I have a Mcintosh MS750. I originally thought I was going use it to record my vinyl but find streaming Tidal good enough for me

The BDP-1 outputs SPDIF(BNC) and AES/EBU. As long as your BDA-1 has either of those inputs, you normally would go directly from the BDP-1 to the BDA-1. The BUC-1 is more for a PC/USB source.

That's good info Travis, as the BUC-1 has no AES/EBU input and the BDA-1 does. I wasn't sure what would happen to my hirez files that are 192/24 kHz as the BDA-1 could only output 96/24 kHz and the BUC-1 filled the bill of making the BDA-1 a full asynchronous DAC and handling the 192/24 files. This will simplify things.

I have the BDP-2 and BDA-3 combo connected via a audioquest coffee USB. It's fantastic and worth every penny.
