I'm not sure Metronome Kalista is worth the price (even used). I haven't heard it, but read the review in HiFi News and the measurements were disasterous.

And before you say that measurements do not always corelate with the sound quality - this CDP has a solid state output stage (no tubes to blame for bad measurements) so the measurements should at least be decent.

Those measurements are still available on HFN website.

Looks cool though.

So I heard it comparsd to a CD8 at an event and it blew it away. Now that is not saying it would do the same in my system at home. So would definitely need to try first.

Has anyone compared the new Metronome Dac and transport with the Kalista?
