Jérôme, and what about your Altecs?!

Seriously, I think you'll be in heaven when you pair your Shindos with a pair of SF Stradivari.

Shindos will certainly reveal some real magic with Strads, however the sheer dynamics, power, and ability to unravel high level complex orchestral passages will be limited. I love them both but Shindos will ultimately limit the Strads, not vice versa.

The Strads are wonderful speakers. As nice as the Elipsa's are the Strads simply sound better. Jerome you will likely want some extra power to truly experience what theses speakers are capable of as Bill has recommended. Make it happen, you won't be disappointed

David it has been too long. We need a Philly get together next time I'm back there.

You get to Philly area and I will provide lodging, wine and food for some 'setup' time. I am about an hour north...

Bart,

The Strads are not for the music room.
As time goes by I do love more and more my Altec based speakers. They are wonderful with Shindo and became even a bit better with Shindo cables and Mr. T's transformers.

Bill, I know that Shindo is not a good match for SF. I am thinking about an other amp for them.

While I was writing, I thought you would add your comments Bill.
Appreciated.
