Sorry, I was referring to their 2-channel speakers not the subs or center channels. I heard they are reducing some of those but since they are for AV I didn't pay much attention.

I think they also eliminated two center channel speakers.

I love the new black lacquer finish. I never thought the cherry or rosenut worked very well aesthetically with the black bowling ball mid-range enclosure. I'll be looking forward to the reviews and also auditioning them.

I spoke to someone who heard them at CES. This individual who is not overly fond of B&W indicated that he heard improvements in the mid and lows but like the rest of us will have to wait 'till we can hear them in a more familiar environment.

I had no issue with the Rosenut color in the past.

Im certain paragon will have a pair as soon as possible. I can't wait to hear them compared to the Wilson Sasha's. I owned a pair of Mirage M3si piano black finish years ago when they were huge speakers. I love the finish, don't mind cleaning them, but now that I have 3 children I would be worried they may get scratched. Even though my children avoid my speakers like the plague, accident's happen. A nice pair of 800d's or Sasha's for the new year. And my wish to buy another 501 for my center or a pair of 1.2k's. I'll decide when it's setup in my basement.

They never have went near them, when they watch movies they love it and of course love watching the meters. I think the sound kinda scares em away from getting too close. When my friend's come over with their kids, that's a whole different story. I have to watch them like a hawk, the little girl is always trying to pull off my tweeter cover. arghhh!!!
I tell them, pretend its fine art, you look but never touch! besides, it costs more than my darn car. lol
