I was gonna reply and say "It's not luck!" but yeah I feel pretty lucky
I never thought I would have anything like Alexia's. |

I'll be sure to look over my shoulder when I'm enjoying my Alexias Yes of course I'll post my full review. I'm really looking forward to hearing what they do differently than the Sasha 2.

I look forward to your in house comparison to the Sasha 2s. My out(of)house opinion is that the Alexia is a better speaker than the Sasha 2s in every aspect---something I could not say years back about the Maxx 2 or 3 which lacked the cohesion of the original Sashas IMHO.
The Alexias are truly something special.Enjoy.

Congrats! As a prior Sasha 1 owner who moved to Alexia Version 1 let me tell you are in for some crazy improvements in dynamics and scale. And as long as you get them setup correctly your listening spot is going to reveal a scary almost 3D image with textures and layers that you wouldn't get with your Sasha's. It's really important that you get the Alexia's dialed in properly. Slight adjustments reveal different changes to the sound stage and placement of voices and instruments. This happened with Sasha 1 as well but I feel the adjustments are easier to hear with Alexia. It's actually quite fun to experiment with them. Hopefully your room acoustics will allow you to take full advantage of these loudspeakers that are in a class of their own. It's so hard to believe that Wilson is actually improving this speaker with Version 2... I'm scared to listen to those when they come out.

As an Alexia owner I can tell you that if set up correctly ( and yours should be as we use the same dealer) the extra adjustability on tweeter and midrange vs the Sasha 2 will make a difference. Will wait to hear your own opinions but I expect you will be rewarded by this change. I also have ultra 5's under mine and have been very pleased with overall system performance Also all my Wilson's in media room are Dark Titanium....I like the color...and it's now an upgrade color....was not when I bought them Last edited by enatai252; 05-10-2017 at 11:26 PM. |
