Jerome with the music I was listening to it sounded like B&W fixed the problem of the older model being too bright. If you have a chance to listen to them I would like to read your opinion

David,
Yes, my Linn / Rega dealer is also a BW premium dealer so I can easily listen to the 802 D there.
I will report my impressions here.

Hello All,
I just joined AA awhile back to get some ideas about a McIntosh system I have been dreaming of for years. It isn't complete yet...maybe a couple more weeks. I bought the 803d's a few months ago along with an MX150 and a MC207. The dealer I bought it from sold the 207 before I could take delivery. So I have decided to take the plunge and buy 2 MC601's and an MC303 for a 5 channel system. The only thing that is still undecided is the cables and interconnects. I notice some incredible systems on AA all use WireWorld. Any feedback would be appreciated from other B&W fans!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I feel like I know some of you already because of the research I did on AA. It's nice to know there are plenty of us out there. I'm still trying to convince my wife it will be worth it!

Very Cool indeed! I would like to hear more on how you like that setup as I am thinking of buying 3(601's), but I have considered and a lot of folks here are very happy with 2(601's) and a MC303 to complete their 5.1 system.
