Although the borders are open, Swiss is not part of the EU. Customs issues are therefore more complicated.
And within the EU and the EUR countries, differences in VAT (19% - 25%) amongst other factors lead to different prices as well.
In addition driving a car to another country is not for free and costs money as well.
Cheaper if you add all your expenses ? (Seeming is utopy, calculation on real offers is reality.)
