Enjoy the new speakers. I can't wait to audition them when I come home next month. I'm quite sure my 20.1's will be lacking in comparison.

Plan "A" is to use the JC-1s for the foreseeable future.

I was struggling to to find a couple non-megabuck mono blocks that like Maggies, the JC-1s have worked out nicely with the 3.7s.

..and I'm hoping they'll be fine on the 20.7s as well.

Congradulations Rayooo! You should be set for a long time with those speakers. The 3.7's are the end of the road for me. It would be intresting to know how many orders are queued up at Magnepan for the 20.7's.

Hi Ray,

Congrats on the big Maggies!!!

In the event you decide to consider alternatives to the JC-1s, I HIGHLY recommend you take a look at Sanders Magtech monos. They are designed specifically for magnetic planars (and do a hell of a job with estats and pretty much everything else out there as well). They're a bit of an investment but certainly not over-priced wrt performance and sound.

Cheers
