New here, inherited from my dad his JBL 300 monitors, residential cabinets, and had to refoam them. They sounded great with the also inherited McIntosh 2100 power amp, C 26 Preamp and MR78 tuner. We moved to Idaho 4+ years ago and my wife says the speakers are too big for the new house...so...the set up is in my 30X40' shop, minus the 300s, they are still in storage waiting for me to build platforms to elevate them above all the tools and clutter on the floor. I'm getting closer to the platforms and I can't wait to blast out the neighbors.

I’ve been lurking for a long while and admiring the collections of all of these great JBL fans out there. I’ve tried many manufacturers over the decades but JBL has been my favorite. After owning a wide assortment of JBLs since my first pair of L-150s in ‘76 or ‘77 (probably 50+ models), I still own L-65, L-100, L-110, L-150, L-220, L-300, 4343, 4350, Array 1400, Everest DD67000, Control 30. Eight pairs are currently set up and used weekly. And one other Harman product, the Revel Salon 2s. Thatsa lotta music!!

May I apply with JBL 4311B I bought as a teen with money earned in the summer break working into constructions and, since less than a month, a pair of L220 off the original owner but in need of deep restoration?

Our family use to own the L65 Jubal but sold it a long time ago to buy the Snell Type A2 . We still have a 4311B that we use in our old home theater setup . It’s a a little rough , will probably restore it one of this day . Still dreaming of getting a 4344 in the future as a replacement for my MG3A in my vintage system .

Hello! Long time lurker first time poster.

Have used L100, 4312D and 4307. Currently using a pair of 4429 and absolutely love them. Driving them with Leben CS600X right now, but looking to get my hands on a McIntosh, either the 8900 or the 352.

Thanks!

Seriously torn on MA8900 vs MA352, because they're both great amplifiers.

My McIntosh user friends are split as well - some say since I'm getting a McIntosh then I should definitely get one with the autoformer, but the other half thinks that the tube pre would go nicely with the horns on 4429.

I went down to the distributor's showroom and listened to 7200 and 352, but they don't have JBLs (no shops here in Hong Kong carry both brands) so I listened to Unison Research's Max 2.

I posted this in another thread, but basically I felt that the 7200 was more dynamic and had more clarity (felt like a thin veil being lifted when I switched from 352 to 7200), but the 352's vocals really stood out and overall it was maybe slightly more musical. I'm sure both would sound great in my system, but still having a hard time deciding
