Default Hello from New Zealand!!
Hi All,

Got to say, what a fantastic forum!! I have been a long time lurker at this forum and now that I am getting my audio system in order thought i would sign up!!

Bit of background about me, I basically love music, in most varieties. I play guitar and used to run a small home recording studio but have decided recently to close that down as my "day job" was getting busier and a found I did not have the time (or energy) to put in to providing a quality service to my clients.

I sold off the majority of my recording equipment and have (am still) investing in some quality Hi-Fi equipment so that both me and the wife can enjoy. The wife has been very supportive of this decision and has actually helped decide on spending more than originally budgeted so that is very cool

I have had the Dyn's and the Plinius for about 6 months and have just had an old dvd player as the source. Most recent purchase is the PS Audio DAC II which is currently on its way over from PS Audio as I type this as there is currently no distributor in NZ for them. Got to say, PS Audio have been fantastic to deal with, I guess this comes from people who are passionate about what they are doing.

Haha, Wellington's never windy.......

Actually its a stunning day today, the sun is shining (about time) and very little wind today (about time as well!!).

I am actually just North of Upper Hutt in a place called Maymorn, semi rural and loving it.

I grew up over the hills from Upper Hutt, in Plimmerton.

I know Te Awamutu reasonably well too. I helped design some of the plant for Anchor milk powder factory there, over 20 years back.
