I'm intrigued by the beeswax fuses. Maybe when I have a spare $175, I'll pick one up.
(FWIW, I'm using some squares of beeswax cloth under each corner of my Harbeth 30.2s and the open-top Resonant Woods stands as a "constrained layer" and it works really well).

Yes, I've read about the technology in them, its fascinating, scientifically-speaking. They are doing some pretty sophisticated things with this specific embodiment of a fuse design. Looks like there are some TRIZ inventive principles at work...

For those who have interest in the Blue (or Black fuse for that matter), they are now on sale since yesterday with a 30% discount. At 87.46$ for a Blue fuse this is a good deal for someone who is a non-believer but still curious to try it out. At this price, it is in line with the price on the used market.
