802D1 to 802D3? Worth it?
During the audition I had to ask the sales rep if there was a sub turned on There was so much bass.

So far behind.... 802D3 vs Matrix 802 III
So yes, I have enjoyed my Matrix 802s for 18 years, but it is time to upgrade. What can I expect with the 802 D3s now. The Matrix 802s have been a bit poor in the low end, and I have had an ASW 3000 to beef up the low end. The room is 24x24 with a 19ft cathedral ceiling. Your guidance and wisdom is appreciated! And yes, the amp will be upgraded too.

Instead of a flat front For me the gem was the 803D3. First time you could get the Marlin head on a smaller cabinet for smaller rooms. 804D3 to 803D3 improvement is very very apparent.
