I am using a Krell KAV-500 for the center and four rear speakers and a Bryston SST2 2.5b for the left and right main speakers.

3 Parasound JC 1 monoblocks LCR, 2 Parasound A 23s side and rear surrounds, and a Velodyne SMS-1 bass manager that provides LF room correction for a pair of HGS-15s.

I have the Velodyne HGS-18 and 12 along with the SMS-1. I could never get the SMS-1 to work correctly. Does it work for you?

I have two of them, one controls the pair of HGS-15s and the other a pair of HGS-10s. Both work splendidly for acoustic room correction. Recently, I've been using one of the SMS-1s to low-pass to the HGS-10s at 50 Hz with a 24 dB/octave slope as a supplement for a pair of KEF LS50s. It makes a successful integration.

Bryston 3B SST2 for front L/R will be moved to rear surround L/R when I upgrade to surround. Trying to figure out what three channel amp to use for front L/C/R when that happens.

When I had the SMS-1 connected, I felt the sound was missing a little air around the music. Its hard for me to articulate, but my sound did not come back until I removed it. I thought the SP3 sounded better without it.
