Hi James,

Just wondering if you have an estimated release date on this new player?

Would be perfect for my office system😄

Cheers,

Paul

Will the Pi Digital player's software be updatable? I'm also considering BDA-3. I see that Tidal streaming part of the features of Pi Digital player. Do either of this pieces have the software/hardware architecture to accommodate MQA in the future?

Hi

Yes the software will be up-datable.

Tidal is still in BETA but is getting close to final version.

MQA is a software upgrade but it is still and wait and see situation before we go in that direction.

How does it compare to the oppo player playing tidal?

Bryston SP3' Bryston 6b-sst, 3b-sst, BDA-2, Dynaudio Confidence C2 (front), Dynaudio SCX (center), Dynaudio Audience (rears), ocos speaker cables, Vertere USB D-FI DD and most Bryston interconnect cables

I would say it would sound similar but I do not listen to Tidal much - I know I may be kicked of the forum for this and maybe even loose my audiophile union card but I do not think streaming services sound very good.
