Aida Vs. Futura
I am curious and pose the below question that only a few will likely be able to answer but want everyones opinion....... (Ivan, Bill your thoughts are much appreciated)
How much sonic difference is there between Futuras + two G1's and the Aidas? I know value is subjective but is it worth the extra cost? (I think the answer is definitely YES but what are the main sonic differences?  ) If the differences are too great to describe that is OK but I am curious......Thanks!!

Josh... This is quite easy for me to answer as I have both the Futura's and Aida's in the very same large room.
The Futura's are being driven by all Bryston Electronics and Amps; 28B-SST^ to be specific. On the other end of the room my Aida's are powered by an all Burmester Rig; gear can be found in my signature. The Futura's sounds simply amazing, and are capable of an outstanding sound stage and awesome bass even w/o a subwoofer. Comparing the Futura's against the Aida's at 3.5x the cost is shall I say simply unfair. The Aida's are in a different league altogether. There is a saying that I live by; everything is good until you compare it to something better. Would I buy the Aida's all over again if I could turn the clock back... in a heart beat! Yes, they are that good.

The Aida/Burmester system is capable of faithfully reproducing the grandeur of a full symphonic orchestra at live levels. It never ceases to amaze me, in fact it has become my personal benchmark to beat.
Looking forward, I wonder how the TAD/Accuphase reference system that I intend to build will fair in comparison.
