Default Bryston BP-16DA Specs

Hello dear folks of Audio Aficionado,

I just purchased a Bryston BP-16DA and cannot find any specs of the DAC.

Up to what resolution does it supports when playing WAV/FLAC files through the RCA S/PDIF input?

Thank you all!

Raymond

Thanks Dan, looks like it is up to 24/108.
That works for me, 99% of my files are 24/96 and under.

Raymond.......I don't think I posted the correct link to the Bryston product you seek info about, that's why I deleted my post, but I now see the brochure did offer the BP 16-DA specs.

Yeah.. I found it under the BP-26DA specs. The DAC board on those 2 are the same.

By the way, is the Phono Board for the BP-16 still being sold?

James,

the date code on my BP-16 is 0717, so there should be warranty left on it, but I don't have the original receipt.
Is Bryston very strict with the warranty policy and not having the original receipt?

Thanks,

Raymond

Hi Raymond

You need it for warranty. You do not need the original just a copy of the original. Who did you buy it from?

I bought it from a private seller that bought it from Echo Audio (a reseller) without an (copy of) original sales receipt.
