Got it !

Voltage stability is less of an issue in France since most of the energy is from nuclear plant so you have more stability on the line. Though I still need to test my line

Hi,
The demo'ed 1220 was said to be well broken-in.
As I said I didnt have time to explore more with different power cords.
But for a200, I am pretty sure it will blunt dynamic and attack, as extra line impedance will sure affect that aspect.
Also extra power cord will sure be an extra coloration in the system too.
But a friend of mine who owned 520 said after a month of use it sounded more relax.
Actually if I sell my RSA Maxim, a little more $ is needed to buy PS520. Only that dealer told me 1220 will sound better
Even with little load that is well within 520 rating.

Toga

Default Accuphase PS1220& A200s

I use one PS1220 for each A200 monoblock. This works very well. RA

That sounds like an invitation to write a blank cheque

I'm also used A-200 with pair of 1220, but loose dynamic a little bit and focus on the big level of signal, so it's better to plug it in the wall and find a good power cables.Scandia

Toga...pull the Zitron Anaconda out, replace it with something else & give it another go.

Best power connect I have experienced is Siltech Ruby Mountain II G7.

Mypal, I feed PS520 with Transparent MM2X, modified with wonderful Furutech FI48 connector. This works well. Also have JPS Aluminata on hand, and looking to buy Kubala Elation to compare. Toga

Toga, I have the KS Elation, been using them for a couple of years.
Neutral, nicely balanced PC overall, but lacking the ultimate blackness, weight, tonal density, palpability, and organic quality of some.
Compare it to Siltech's Royal Signature starter - Ruby Hill 2 for example, you will get what I'm trying to say.
*Try Siltech Ruby DC or StageIII's Zyklop or Kraken should be better.

Since you already own Minotaur on Gryphon if not mistaken?
..I'd get Kraken for use on amp, and move Minotaur to feed PS520 and the other for preamp or transport.
*Single Mephisto runs two PCs right?
