And talking about NAS failure, one of the drives in my NAS failed yesterday. The drive was only 13 months old! The manufacturer will replace it under warranty. Meanwhile I can continue to listen to my stored music without a problem. That is one of the advantages of a NAS.

Indeed. When I started out, I learned from my own mistakes (rather than hardware failure) that hardware backup was essential.
