Default My CLX's Are Gone!

To analyze the distortion problem I have experienced, the speakers have been shipped back to Martin-Logan......and I have my dealer's pair to use until their return. The M_L people have been great and decided this is the best course of action. I have been assured that they will do their utmost to expedite their return.

I have had a pair of Vantages for four years now, and I can tell you that among all the audio companies I've dealt with over the years, ML is among the best, if not the best, at customer service. They have given me no room to complain at all, and they are always friendly to deal with. Based on my experience, you can take them at their word about doing everything they can to fix the problem.

My CLXes came without the spikes. I called ML and the rep apologized, asked for my address and sent them right out to me. Excellent.

The CLX's were delivered back today! Need to wait to unbox them until I get the new McIntosh Amps in the rack and out of the way.

I bet you are pleased to have them back in the house.

My CLX's (Anniversary edition) will be arriving on Tuesday. I have still got the dealers demo pair with a single Descent I.

I have also ordered a pair of Descent I's, but they won't be with me yet.😄

I couldn't agree more. My CLX's are amazing. My subs are due to be installed on Thursday so that should be interesting.

I reckon it should be a fairly large improvement. The current sub is connected via LFE so the filter is not being used. My new subs will be connected using RCA (Transparent Ultra specifically calibrated for low level frequencies). I am also using high level power cables. Out of interest have you tried Transparent PowerLink's on the CLX's?!

Rgds
