I used to think that way. The 1st time I saw the Watt Puppy (Must have been the 5) I thought "Good Grief that is Weird." Now when I see that silhouette, I must stop and stare!!! I just think it is beautiful!

OOooooooooo!!!!

I'm sure Dave Wilson is not going to lose any sleep over your comment. He sells enough of them to others who do find them attractive and more importantly a state of the art speaker. They did get the "golden ear" award by the way.

I liked Transformers. There is a new one coming out in the summer. Perhaps that is why Wilson is releasing a new speaker!

Just got the Press Release PDF file from Wilson on Sasha.

Maxx 3 tweeter, similar midrange of Alexandria 2, cellulose fiber/paper composite unit, new woofers are similar to previous W/P but have magnets twice the size for increased speed, agility and linearity, revised crossovers, thicker X-material with more bracing for an even lower resonance coloration. Sounds like it will be a serious speaker.

This is really SERIOUS stuff! I have given the WP8 a miss and was thinking all along on the Maxx 3 until the Acapellas crept into my life.

Although I am very happy with the immense musical enjoyment the current setup had provided, there is still this nagging urge to up the ante .... and I am holding back this feeling UNTIL I hear what the new Sasha can do (if possible an A/B with the Acapellas before deciding - which will be the best if that can happen for me).

Hmmmm

For me the Sasha would have to be a lot closer to the Maxx 2/3 than a WP 7 or 8. If the projected pricing is right then it looks like they have taken current market conditions into consideration. Looking forward to a listen at the local dealer.

Don't know if you ever saw this movie. But this evil robot from the "Black Hole"" a disney film has a lot in common with that silhouette.

the speaker does look amazing though, and thanks for the link.

Yes I have, and yes it does. That move actually won an award (Academy?) for special effects.
