Default It's bad news all the way for Moon sprouting's

The dream of vast fields of barley and maize upon our beloved Moony seem to be over, as the Chinese sprout has withered and died after 24 hours. Is the Moon now a Hooverville? No, it's wondrous purpose of stopping endless tidal waves continues apace.

The Moon controls our tides. Oh yaas, I learn't that in geography class. Just as Jupiter catches deadly comets that would destroy us every ten years or so. Giant oceans of liquid hydrogen, accept no substitute. That giant water planet, scientist's presume the tidal waves are constant. You wan't awe and gratitude, it's for the Moon and Juppy, all the other planets are decoration, save perhaps blustery Neptune, which may absorb some hooligans from the Kuiper belt. I'm not saying it can't happen, no planet is infallible.

It's no easy task protecting the biosphere and life inside it from -170C temps as the Moon rotates into darkness...

Of course the NASA magic suits could protect from -274F temps as well as insane levels of radiation but somehow "that" technology could not be implemented in a bio-dome...

Nice one! Both the Moon and Jupiter give us oxygen, but of a different sort. Handy how their positioned....just so.

One only has to think about the mechanics of the "precise" orbital rotation of the moon around the earth so that it is always perfectly aligned with only one side towards us. Quite possible in a perfect circular orbit. Not so much with an elliptical orbit without a force slowing it down and speeding it up to keep the alignment. The Moon is also slowly drifting away from the Earth year after year and yet the alignment... Next time you gaze up at the moon, think about that and the poor cotton sprout...
