I started with Pass Labs customer service (very helpful gentleman - I forget his name). Next, I got a call and an email from Pass Labs President Desmond Harrington. Desmond, as you recall, was the former lead designer/engineer for Krell (when Krell built the biggest, baddest amps). He could not have been nicer and more helpful. We communicated back and forth multiple times. Each time he was delving more into my room, listening habits, speakers, etc. Even when I told him the types of music I listened to, he wrote back and asked for a detailed list of CD's. He answered all my stupid ass questions with professionalism. With other companies, I can't even get one of their flunkies to call me back - let alone have the President help me. Enough said. I was sold. Add to that, that the amps sound unbelievable and have exceeded my expectations and I'm a happy camper!

That's awesome Mike. I've called Pass myself. They are excellent. I've called "other" companies and got attitude when I was lucky enough to get a return phone call. Great product and fantastic customer service! It makes you feel good about buying the products.

When I told Desmond, "you could have easily sold me on the 200.5's, but you didn't." He simply replied, "well, I could have, yes. But I would rather have happy customers".

Hi at all,
I use a X250.5 and I will go with the XA series....: now I love the "power" from my 250 watt Passlab and a dealer say me that if I will have a new ampli that give me a power sensation with the x250.5 the xa100.5 are not enough. -> the 160.5 is a basis to start! I have a Raidho C3.1 (ot: at_vintage_tube: you have too the c3.1 wallnut like me but you use a tube ampli: soudn better?) and the - for me - always great B&W802d2. before i had a HC all Classe audio (ssp800-CA2300-CA3200) but the Passlab sound is a lot different: in stereo is much better! please opinion, greetings from Switzerland raido |
