What do you consider weak about the phono input on C42 ?
There’s only one MM phono stage input, no MC. That is my only qualm.
The other is that the lamps on mine are starting to go.
Has anyone replaced the lamps on their C42? Soldering isn't a problem for me, but if it's a PITA to get to the lamps, I might send it out to the AC.

if you want a good phono stage, try the c47, I have one and it's amazing! so far only using an MM cart.
