Have owned one PDK equipped Porsche in my life, a Cayman R where it kind of made sense since I wanted to explore some track driving in it where it is an advantage for 99% of the drivers other than pros. The rest were always manual. Not much sense in driving a Porsche in traffic... But of course to each their own. I don't even understand the rev-matching feature, it's like people are too lazy to rev-match their downshifts or learn heel/toe technique? Gotta have a row your own in a sports car, here is my ex R8 V10 with the proper "gated" manual. Sadly they don't even make an R8 with a manual anymore.

And will also get the speedster when released. The noise, the high rev NA engine, the handling and feel, 6sp manual...all great. Definitely less torque than some of the cars listed above....but lighter and crazy fun. Good news is there are enough options out there across multiple brands to ensure everyone can find the one that fits them best.
I agree totally! I just got a 2018 GT3 manual 6 Spd a few months ago and love it!. It's very compliant and balanced but still raw. Pulls forever to 9000 RPM's. Had it on the track in New Orleans and was a blast.

My wife and I have owned 15 991's and 1 Macan S - I met her racing in IMSA in 1994 at the 24 Hours of Daytona. Too old now for racing these great cars, although Paul Newman was competitive until the age of 70... Cheers - Gerry
