Billy Joel - Piano Man, the Best of Billy Joel K2HD 24/100 disc

The sound of this disc is very good although you can hear some of the inconsistencies in the quality of the original recordings over the years.

I had it once on vinyl, then the remastered CD, now the surround-SACD.
The music remains brilliant of course, and you're really ín the studio with the musicians. You hear things, unnoticed before.
This surround effect was a real surplus in "Dark Side of the Moon", but here I'm not so sure... It's a bit artificial.
I'll probably stick to the stereo-layer in the future.
