I have some Herbie's Iso-Cups and a set of RollerBlock Jr's loaned out to another member in order to try them out. If you would like to try them when he is done-shoot me a pm with your address.
Is there a difference in damping between the pads and the rollerballs or are they the same and you just use what suits mounting the component on better?

On my rack...I prefer the Ultra Padz to the RollerBlock Jr's.
On an amp stand...RollerBlock Jr's. under gear that is sitting on an Ultra Platform works out really nice!.

Think it will depend on the individual, gear and budget. One thing you must take into consideration is-rack shelf space (overall height is different for the different products).

Like with all Audio gear...In system demo is the way to decide!.

Thanks.......... and couldn't agree more about in system demo is the only way. Something at the level we are we have all learned by a few past impulse buys.

Lou.......When I am trying a new tweak like an isolation device, or an ancillary upgrade like an interconnect or power cord, my initial attitude is I don't want to like it. I want it NOT to make a difference for two reasons. One, if it fails to live up to the chatter then the myth gets debunked. Two, if it fails to meet the claims and hype it saves me big bucks. If I fail to be able to maintain that attitude, and in fact find that I do hear an improvement, then I have to change my mind, and often spend my money. I am always open to a new way of thinking. I can be convinced to the contrary, but I have to see it, hear it, or feel it. Vague innuendos by users, false claims, marketing hype, and glossy ads don't move me. Results, now that's a different story.

I use Symposium throughout my system and could'nt be happier. All their products are worth trying in ones system. Highly Recommended

I was just reading instal tips on the Symposium site and what stood out to me was the fact that I have PC's and interconnects that are so thick they rest against the wall and that is a bad thing vibration wise. Common sense for sure but never put much thought into it due to space constraints.
